YOUR INFORMATION

ScopePilot extension privacy

This policy describes the ScopePilot Chrome extension preview, version 1.0.1. Updated 15 October 2026.

ScopePilot is provided by OnBits.net, operated by e4e5 LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE #11790, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States.

Text you choose to use

The extension processes a brief you paste, selected text you send through its context menu, or text from a page you ask it to capture. Briefs and page text can contain names, personal information, communications and other website content. Only use information you have permission to process.

Page access follows your action on the current tab. The extension does not continuously read pages or request your browsing-history database.

How drafts are made

Drafting uses local template rules. If Chrome makes its built-in LanguageModel API available, generating a draft also attempts on-device refinement. If that API is unavailable, the local template draft is used.

Version 1.0.1 contains no service that sends your brief, captured text or generated proposal to OnBits or an external AI provider. It has no extension analytics or advertising tracker. OnBits does not sell this extension data, use it for advertising, or receive it to train models. Chrome itself manages any required browser model download.

What stays saved on your device

Chrome extension local storage keeps your hourly-rate setting, a count of generated drafts and the last selection captured through the context menu. That saved selection includes its text, page URL, page title and capture time. A new context-menu capture replaces the previous saved selection.

Saved extension data has no automatic expiry. It survives browser restarts and clearing ordinary browsing history. Chrome clears this local extension storage when you remove the extension. The extension does not use Chrome sync storage.

Pasting a brief or using Capture Active Tab does not separately save that text to persistent extension storage. Generated drafts are displayed in the side panel; this preview does not keep a saved proposal-history library.

Your choices and copies

You can paste a brief without granting page access. You can stop using the extension or remove it from Chrome to clear its local storage. OnBits cannot remotely access or delete that device-only data.

Copy buttons write the text you choose to your system clipboard. Clipboard history, synchronization and anything you paste into another application are controlled by that application, your operating system and your settings. Removing ScopePilot does not remove those separate copies.

Visiting OnBits or contacting support

Opening our setup guide, this page or our contact form makes a normal website request to OnBits and its hosting and network providers. Submitting a contact or milestone-review form sends the details you enter to OnBits; this is separate from local extension drafting. The website may save a private support request and send the disclosed transactional email using Amazon SES.

See OnBits contact privacy for enquiry records, website protections and retention. Using the extension alone does not subscribe you to marketing or send a message to a client.

Questions

Use our ScopePilot contact form for privacy questions or requests concerning information you submitted to OnBits. Please leave passwords, payment details and confidential client material out of support messages.
