Covers reproducible deviations against signed SOW acceptance criteria on the exact handoff commit SHA.
Without a strict post-launch warranty boundary tied to your handoff commit SHA, clients frequently treat third-party API changes, their own admin edits, and new feature requests as "free bug fixes" months after launch. Generate a contract-ready Warranty & Paid SLA Transition Addendum below.

POST-LAUNCH DEFECT WARRANTY BOUNDARY & PAID SLA TRANSITION ADDENDUM Deliverable Scope: Custom SaaS / Full-Stack Web Application & API Limited Defect Warranty Window: 14 Calendar Days Post-UAT Sign-Off (Frozen Commit SHA) Optional Post-Warranty Maintenance & SLA Retainer: $1,250/month ($15,000/year) 1. Strict 14-Day Reproducible Defect Warranty: For 14 calendar days immediately following End-Client User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sign-off or production deployment (whichever occurs first), Agency warrants that the delivered software on the frozen handoff commit SHA will conform materially to the written Acceptance Criteria in the Statement of Work. Agency will remediate reproducible functional deviations against the signed SOW at $0 additional cost during this 14-day window. 2. Explicit Exclusions (Billable via Change Order or Maintenance SLA): The Limited Defect Warranty immediately excludes and is voided with respect to: (a) Any modification, configuration change, or code commit made to the production environment by Client personnel or third parties; (b) Breaking changes, rate-limit modifications, or API deprecations introduced by third-party SaaS platforms, LLMs, browsers, or cloud providers after handoff; and (c) Feature enhancements, UI/UX adjustments, new data fields, or edge cases not explicitly documented in the original Statement of Work. 3. Automatic Expiration & Transition to Paid Maintenance SLA ($1,250/month): Upon expiration of the 14-day Warranty Window at 17:00 UTC on Day 14, Agency's unpaid warranty obligation terminates automatically. Ongoing third-party API maintenance, security patching, dependency updates, and priority bug triage are available exclusively under Agency's Post-Launch Maintenance & SLA Retainer ($1,250/month, billed monthly in advance) or via pre-funded Change Orders at Agency's standard hourly rate.
